What can I say about the new collection of Mulberry for S/S11? Other then, a blaze of color!the above photo shows perfectly one of the major trends for next season - the ruffle.

Another collection showing electric blue for next season. Skirt is mid length with an ankle boot - a difficult styling trick which I predict will be the downfall of anyone over a size 10. Myself included! Never the less! Again if you look at the neckline - details. Hems and necklines in this collection are twisted or ruffled!
A lot of nude shades. Note the ankle boots with a slightly higher hem this time. Dresses, skirts and coats are belted with a skinny belt to show off the waist and draw the eye.
The high waisted gathered trouser. We saw these in the DVF collection as well. Only in electric blue. Set to be THE shade for the new season! Not sure if I would have teamed a nude shade with coral trousers! but it kinda works!
The high waisted 'mammy' shorts! Tell me these don't remind you in shape only of your mother on holiday? Well, my mum anyway! The trend for high waisted anything shows no sign of slowing down. Just make sure it's belted and minimalist in styling. The detailing is either on top or below. A good amount of basics dotted throughout the collection.
The classic trench. Every girl should have a trenchcoat in their collection! I am wearing my burberry trench today in fact. Comfy, warm and oh so stylish at all times! Go for the longer the length in winter and shorten it up for summer! Oh and if you can, try and accessorise with a dog!
Quite a few of these dresses and skirts in this shade. Almost denim. It's nice and simple. easy to wear but effortlessly stylish. Very city girl on a coffee break or day off. Again, the longer hemline with the ankle boot (are those ankle boots clogs?) A trend to be wary of. Watch the hem length and the ankle boot length - this trend can make calves look very chunky. You have been warned!

SO WHAT DO WE THINK? 8/10 - good use of basic items! But some real covetable pieces in there too.
