Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez NOT Secretly Engaged, Planning Caribbean Wedding, Despite Report

A new tabloid report claiming that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are secretly engaged and planning a Caribbean wedding is completely untrue. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this story. We're told it's fabricated.

Gomez is featured in a section of the latest issue of Life & Style called "Here Come The Brides Of 2018," which lists famous women who are supposedly getting married this year. An alleged "source" tells that magazine that Bieber has quietly proposed to his girlfriend, and they're "going to have an intimate Caribbean ceremony" in the coming months.

The outlet's questionable insider says Barbados is being eyed for the small affair, which will have a "tiny guest list" of close friends and family members, including Bieber's manager Scooter Braun and his pastor Carl Lentz. "Selena will wear a custom-made wedding dress by one of her favorite designers," adds the suspicious source.

"Selena is feeling slightly sad and guilty that she's keeping the wedding a secret from those closest to her, but she and Justin both want it to be drama-free." But if Gomez isn't telling "those closest to her" about the supposed nuptials, then how exactly does the tabloid's so-called "insider" know about it? Regardless, Gossip Cop is exclusively assured by a source close to the situation that the couple isn't planning a Caribbean wedding, nor are they secretly engaged.

It's possible the outlet concocted this bogus story because Bieber and Gomez enjoy beach getaways, having just celebrated New Year's together in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, but they're not planning a destination wedding. In fact, this untrue narrative is mostly recycled from another Life & Style article we busted last month. Gossip Cop called out the magazine in December for wrongly reporting that Bieber and Gomez were secretly engaged and planning to marry. It wasn't true a month ago, and it's no more accurate now.
