As "Highway Don't Care," with Tim McGraw, rolls 42-25 on the Billboard Hot 100, Taylor Swift adds a new chart feat: she notches her 41st top 40 Hot 100 hit, upping her into a 10th-place tie among acts with the most such entries in the chart's archives.

Swift first reached the region with McGraw, at least his name. Her debut single "Tim McGraw" spent a week at No. 40 the week of Jan. 13, 2007.
This week's ascent marks Swift' latest laudable Hot 100 accomplishment. She holds the record for the most top 10 debuts, a mark she extended to 11 when "I Knew You Were Trouble." bowed at No. 3 the week of Oct. 27, 2012. The song opened as the third top 10-debuting preview track from her album "Red," following "Begin Again" (No. 7) and the title cut (No. 6).

Swift additionally boasts the most simultaneous titles on the Hot 100 by a female artist, as she placed 11 on the Nov. 13, 2010, ranking the week that her album "Speak Now" debuted atop the Billboard 200.
Swift's favorite number might be 13, but clearly she's stacking several other lucky ones.
P!NK POWER: As P!nk crowns the Hot 100 with "Just Give Me a Reason," with fun.'s Nate Ruess, the pop singer/songwriter concurrently collects her first Adult Contemporary No. 1 with prior single "Try" (2-1). Both songs appear on her album "The Truth About Love," which became her first Billboard 200 No. 1 upon its debut in October.
The coronation of "Try" reflects the crossover evolution of P!nk, who first drew chart ink the week of Feb. 5, 2000, when debut single "There You Go" debuted simultaneously on Dance/Club Play Songs and Rhythmic. By her second album, 2002's "M!ssundaztood," she'd begun transforming to the core mainstream pop sound that embodies her current approach.
"I've been lucky enough to work with P!nk and her manager, Roger Davies, since 2004," RCA executive VP/GM Joe Riccitelli says. "P!nk achieving her first AC No. 1 is satisfying, while we obviously want to not lose focus of her young-end appeal and continued success at pop radio."
"Radio has been an amazing partner in helping further Pink's stardom with this album," RCA senior VP of promotion Adrian Moreira adds. "P!nk has proven that her appeal is not relegated to any one format, genre or demo.
"I think that her topping AC is a testament to the fact that her songs resonate among a wide swath of fans."
P!nk, meanwhile, was elated about crowning the Hot 100. "Ha!!!!! Mama just got a Billboard Hot 100 #1!!!!!!!!!!!! What!?!?!" she Tweeted upon learning of the feat. "Congrats to Nate and thanks to all my amazing friends and fans!!!! JGMAR!"
RUESS RULES: With Nate Ruess accompanying P!nk to the top of the Hot 100, he becomes the latest singer to have commanded the chart as a soloist and with a group. A year ago this week, fun.'s "We Are Young" (featuring Janelle Monae) continued its six-week run at No. 1.

The member of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony joined Chamillionaire for their No. 1 (later covered by "Weird Al" Yankovic as "White & Nerdy"; it became the parodist's first top 10, reaching No. 9 that October). The group had led for eight weeks 10 years earlier with "Tha Crossroads."
As noted in Wednesday's Hot 100 recap story, Ruess is the first male singer of a rock band to collect a solo No. 1 since Matchbox Twenty's Rob Thomas sang on Santana's "Smooth," which led for 12 weeks in 1999-2000.
ANKA AGAIN: Paul Anka returns to the Billboard 200 at No. 95 with "Duets." The rank marks his best since 1977, when "The Painter" climbed to No. 85. Anka had last graced the chart in 2007 with "Classic Songs: My Way" (No. 139).
Michael Buble sings on one of the new album's two new recordings, "Pennies From Heaven." Also on-board: Celine Dion and, in virtual collaborations, the late Michael Jackson and Frank Sinatra.
Anka's Hot 100 history dates to the inaugural survey in 1958 (when "Midnight" ranked at No. 76). He's notched 48 entries on the ranking, including 10 top 10s and the No. 1s "Lonely Boy" (1959) and "(You're) Having My Baby" (1974).
PERFECT 10: Nearly 10 years to the week after scoring her first No. 1 on Dance/Club Play Songs, Yoko Ono ascends to her 10th leader on the chart, as "Hold Me" rises 2-1. Ono first led the week of May 10, 2003, with "Walking on Thin Ice." Until this week, she'd last reigned in September 2011 with "Talking to the Universe," which completed a streak of seven consecutive No. 1s that began in January 2008.
Last week, Depeche Mode likewise logged its 10th Dance/Club Play Songs No. 1, "Heaven." The coronation tied the group with Pet Shop Boys for the most leading titles among multi-member acts dating to the chart's 1976 inception as a national weekly survey.
