BAFTA Awards 2018 nominees list

Well, well, well... BAFTA Awards are the top prize of British cinema, but they go for English language cinema (some kind of less high-profile Oscar, but still very prestigious) and they offer a taste of "how'll be the Oscars". This year they seem to be all smiles for The Shape of Water (12 nominations), followed by Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (9 nominations) and Darkest Hour (same as Three Billboards') and then Dunkirk (8 nominations) and Blade Runner 2049 (8 nominations too). But let me just say that 9 nominations is A LOT for Three Billboards in every way: small productions like this one don't tend to score so many nods and it shows how overrated the movie is. I'm not saying Three Billboards suck... I like the movie, but it's not that damn brilliant.
And then you realise: The Post was completely snubed (it got a 2017 release in UK? maybe not!!!); Hugh Grant got nominated for Best Supporting Actor for Paddington 2 "stealing" the spot of one of the Call Me By Your Name supporting contenders (Hammer and Stuhlbarg); both Jamie Bell and Annette Bening got some recognition for they high-caliber performances in Film Stars Don't Die in Liverpool; and Florence Pugh (Lady Macbeth) missed a Best Leading Actress nomination but Margot Robbie (I, Tonya) made it.... AAARRGHHH!!!!
So, just have a look at the complete list of BAFTA Awards 2018 nominees:
