Over the past year or so, Selena Gomez has become the picture of youthful tailored style. Since re-kindling her romance with ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber, though, she's begun to mix a little more athleisure into her wardrobe. Coincidentally, Justin himself is rarely seen without a pair of basketball shorts or track pants, so it seems as though his über casual style might just be rubbing off on his new love interest. While many might look gym-bound in a pair of leggings, Selena still manages to make them look chic — and affordable! Her latest wardrobe addition is a pair of black leggings from Puma that you can shop for yourself for $35.
On Monday in Los Angeles, Selena was spotted rink-side wearing those very perfect black leggings, topped with a black leather jacket. Her look was sporty, yet boasted that signature elegant Selena Gomez style that she's honed so well. Later that day, photographers caught the singer with a friend and her baby, taking a hike in those very same leggings. On top, as the event dictated, Selena rocked an oversized black sweatshirt from Russell x Visitor on Earth.
In short, though Selena is rocking a more casual look these days, she still proves that you can wear athleisure in real life, without looking like you're headed to a workout. Leave it to the 25-year-old style guru to make us re-think everything we thought we knew about style.
